Selling my flute: Yamaha 674 with Burkart Headjoint

Post by FltnPicc_David »

Hi guys! I just bought a new Miyazawa flute two months ago and am looking to sell my old flute, or even just the headjoint for those of you who are looking.

My flute is a Yamaha 674HHV so here are the specs:

Solid silver body, silver plated mechanism, heavy wall tubing, offset G, split E mechanism, and B-foot footjoint.

The flute has a Lillian Burkart headjoint on it that is solid silver with a 14K gold riser. It is the popular M2 headjoint cut.

The flute itself is about 5 years old and the headjoint is only 2 years old. I should also note that the headjoint has not been fitted to the flute yet so for those you who just want to buy the headjoint, you can still have it fitted to your flute since I've read that a headjoint can only be resized once? (Feel free to correct me if this is wrong!)

The flute itself was recently serviced and COA'd, almost all of the pads are new!

I'm asking around $2,000 for the whole instrument with headjoint and the headjoint alone around $1,300. If you want pictures, email me at:

ddle@mail.usf.edu

I'll send some pictures adn we can discuss prices and any questions you guys have! Thanks! :)
