I too am keen to hear what ppl have to say about this esp the Michael J Allen headjoint.
I've heard some good things about the special material he uses for one of the hjs.

the reason i want to buy another is because i myself destroyed the head,to be more specific i destroyed the lip plate by cutting it around.it was like a stupid experiment so dont judge me... :(
well,if anybody could tell me if i could put another lip plate on the head it would be useful to know.
otherwise im gonna select one of these,or maybe a cheper head as guo grenaditte.let me know pls./

Dear Manuel,
It's nearly impossible to give you such an advise. There is only one way to actually make a choice, test playing both and feeling which one should be your winner. By the way, why not experiment others? :-)

What is your repertoire.
That might help with the choice.
Am not familiar with your previous fit out.
Just asking the Qs.
Then keeping quiet...

i live in greece and there is no possibility to try headjoints, thats why i ask you.well, maybe i have to do a trip in the uk to pick up a head.

p.s if anybody knows about the herbert neureiter grenadilla head,i will wait for his opinion.

my repertoire is basically pieces of the romantic period.

Headjoints are so truly unique (even amongst identical headjoints) I honestly don't recommend buying without trying it. I would just save up the extra funds to either have some sent to you on trial or to travel to a shop that has some available to try beforehand. But as for making a recommendation it's like asking 'Which of the primary colors are better? Red Yellow or Blue?'

Or like asking...

'Which is better, an apple or an orange?'

No one can tell you what you want to know. And I strongly recommend adding other makers to your list. Lafin and Mancke are all relatively close to you ( both should be either a train ride or a boat/train ride combo away at most).
