I am selling my flute Yamaha 281 made in Japan.
I bought it in Korea for around US $1,000 at the time. It was I think the only model in the store at the time (that I went to) that was made in Japan. There were other models of 281 but assembled in Indonesia. The shop-keeper highly suggested this instrument to me saying that the 'made in Japan' ones are of very high quality compared to the Indonesian ones.
As far as I know, Yamaha has their flutes assembled in mostly Indonesia and have been moving it around to other dodgy factories. These made in Japan are very rare to come by and highly sought for its durability and stability.
Prices: NEGOTIABLE. However looking for offers made over $400. If you're interested, comment below and I'll send you the shipping costs/details personally (I'm from Australia).
This flute is in beautiful condition. Good playing condition as well. Some minor scratches, hardly noticeable.
