Pearl Flute 9701 C foot Closed

I have a chance to purchase a 2 year old Pearl Flute 9701 C foot Closed ts a handmade flute and the guy told me that new its worth 9500 for it. He will sell it to me for 2600 . Is this a good deal I had a 665 RBE Loved it but sold it because it was a little heavy .He is a Classical flutist so i thing pearl might have given him this flute for a great price . Maybe he is an artist too represented by pearl
