pads, pads, pads`

both of my piccolos will need a repadding VERY soon...
my friend was telling meabout a type of pad that is sposed to be excellent but i
can''t remember the name of the type of pads.... i''m noti n contact with
him any more and have no idea what type of pads to buy... i need a very durable
pad because my piccolos both indoor and outdoor use. any ideas???

Don't know much about picollo pads but in flutes the
best pads are supposedly made by Straubinger Also there is a fairly new gold pad
which I know little about.

lucien pads are really good as well if you're
looking at putting in a traditional pad straubinger pads are considered one of
the best synthetic pads available but not everyone likes them. also to have
straubinger pads put into an instrument you have to go to a straubinger
certified technician which you can find by looking at struabinger's website.
