Hi. I've been carrying my flute around with me on every move for the last 47 years and I don't play anymore. I'm finally ready to let it go. It's been cared for lovingly and means a lot to me, but I don't plan on playing anymore. I have no idea what I can sell it for on the open market or where the best place might be to sell it. I looked up the serial number and it said 1970 which seems right. I am the first and only owner. It has not been refurbished in years, so it would need new pads at a minimum. It is sterling silver with a C-foot.
Where can I get the best price?
Where should I start as far as sales price?
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi,
your flute is probably a commercial model from the 60's.
For a price appraisal and a hassle free sale, look in the flute section on Ebay.
My guess is in the 1000$-2000$ USD range.
