Hello!
I have a Normandy flute I purchased and I had the pads completely redoen about 20 years ago.
Unfortunately, I never really learned how to play it and am now needing to sell it.
When I had it redone, they indicated it was very old. It has Seriall #1086.
Can anyone tell me how old this flute is, or where I can find the serial numbers for Normandy flutes?
Thank you!

Re: Normandy flute - Serial #1086
I checked a few sources but I don't see Normandy flute serial numbers listed anywhere. Normandy was the student instrument line of Leblanc. I found some Leblanc serial number lists and if they were consistent between their instrument lines, #1086 would have been 1950 or earlier.

Re: Normandy flute - Serial #1086
Hello Pied Piper!
Thank you so much for checking into this and the info you sent - much appreciated!
I also found it odd that serial # info not available for this brand anywhere.
I've only seen reference to one # and that flute was for sale in Canada.
It is serial #3623 I believe.
Anyway, thanks again for the info - very helpful as I didn't even know it was a student line.
