Pearl ST 700E

Hi everyone

I've recently picked up my old flute after more than 40 years. I've joined an amateur music group and am having a whale of a time, although I obviously have a tonne of work to do to get back to any decent standard. However, my flute is the same one I've owned since childhood and I have no idea if its a good one - its a Pearl st700e silver flute and seems to be fully working. I remember buying it with my parents as an upgrade to my beginner flute, but I don't know that any research was done - it may have just been the one I liked best out of the selection in the shop! So I'm really just open to any information and opinions about this make/model and anything you'd expect to need checking over after so many years just sitting in its case. Thank you!
