I am waiting for a treble flute to come to me right now. I decided to sell another instrument that wasn't getting much use and try the treble out. I'll let you know what I think when I get it! The one I'm getting is white with black keys -- very elegant looking!

I got the treble flute in today. It is pretty neat! It took me a little bit to get used to the "feel" of the keys and just get warmed up on it, but after I relaxed into it, I enjoyed it very much. Cool tone, very sweet and "woody" sounding. I'm very glad I got it and am looking forward to playing it together with a concert flute.

 That was just in case any body is interested.

See, now you are going to make me spend more money than I have to spend...LOL I like to hear you play on it!

I got mine used, so I didn't have to spend as much $$$ as I thought I would. I do think the normal price of $1200 is too much, but lately it has been priced on Ebay at around $700, I think. My concern is that it "feels" like a toy, I guess because of the plastic-type material it is made of, so it makes me think of it as not as well made as a metal flute. However, I really like the sweet tones it gives so I'll wait on final judgment of the quality it is made with. I find myself being very careful when I'm playing it, which actually is a good thing for me since I need to play with a gentler touch anyway.

I have never recorded myself playing, but I'd like to try. If I can figure out how to do it, I'll see about putting a clip here of the treble. It really sounds very good on Bach & Telemann pieces!
