Laval flute

Has anybody heard of a brand of flute called Laval and can you give me the name of country that this company is from and where this flute is made thank you very much.

This one recently turned up in my studio. I believe it is made in China, but I have no proof other than it has many of the same issues as Chinese made flutes. There is no indication on the flute itself, and there is no serial number either. I am not sure of the company name.

aaahhh.... I don't trust things made in China, especially musical instruments...

Agreed. Musical instruments made in China are generally extremely poorly made. Never heard of Weimer either, but again, I would guess that it is made in China as well. You are far better off to stick to brands that are known - tried and true.
