ELD Emerson flute serial question

Post by borntoflute »

I am looking for info on model #c60370, like what year it was made :)
The ELD emblem is on the barrel
This is a solid silver head, body and foot joints, open holed, b foot.
Thanks in advance.

I saw this addressed on another forum by someone who was an Emerson employee. I can't give you specific dates, but just the sequence of logo locations. The first ones had the ELD in an oval on the body of the flute. The next placement was on the barrel with the same oval surrounding the monogram. The later logo does away with the monogram in the oval for the stylized "e". Yours is from the middle period.

Do a general search for Emerson manufacture date and that thread might turn up.

OK, go ask this fellow: http://forum.saxontheweb.net/member.php ... uce-bailey
