Briccialdi Italia Modello 2-03? Authentic?

Post by pwhite1152 »

Hello all,

Quick question about a flute I have. It is called a Briccialdi Modello 2-03, however when we took a look at the engraving it seems a bit "fake" to us. We also cannot find any information about this particular model online. If anyone knows anything about this flute, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hello,
this flute, Briccialdi model 203, is the entry level of "Briccialdi flauti". It's a student flute.
I can see in your photos that the headjoint has a titanium stopper plug. I also have a Briccialdi flute, Argento II model, great flute!
You can find more detailed description here: http://www.briccialdi.it/en/product/19/Model-203.html

Ciao from Italy

Hi. I'm a Briccialdi artist. At the moment the the logo printings are not so accurate such as the more expensive flutes. But the things that really interest me on a flute ...are others! :)
By the way things are improving a lot very fast, and soon barrels with a more professional design will be produced.

Thank you for the replies! I'll go ahead and assume I do not have a copy on my hands
