Selmer USA, Open-hole, Inline G

Post by justlewis »

I bought a used flute off of craigslist several years ago, got it cleaned up and had the pads replaced, and it plays well (or well enough for my skill level, at any rate).

I am posting because I am having trouble identifying the specific make and model.

The carrying case for the flute says "The Selmer Company" and "Selmer USA" on it.

The flute itself says "Selmer USA" on the barrel.

But the only flutes I can find information on that would be labeled that way are flutes that are closed-hole, offset G models.

I am mostly just curious to find out more about the flute's composition and when it was made, etc.

The serial number on the barrel says 23045.

Does anyone know anything about how I could find out more information about this flute? (I can post pictures if that would be helpful, as well)
