Hiya everyone from Canada!
I just joined and this is my first post....
I am looking to purchase a resonable cost d flat piccolo. I have recently started playing again in a community band after 25 year absence - the ex disliked me having fun playing. Well he's gone, and I've having a blast rediscovering my first love!!! I have a half-decent student flute that I've kept throughout it all - does fine for the band but I do want to expand my skills (played C piccolo in marching band) and improve my playing ability. So hopefully someone can direct me in the right direction. Thanks!!!!

If you watch carefully sometimes you can find an old one on eBay for a nominal amount of money. Be prepared; most will need extensive repair work as they are usually very old instruments and not in good working condition. I have a friend who got one for under $75 and put a little bit of money into it. It now plays. It doesn't play great, but if you are just looking for one for casual playing, one like that would probably serve your purposes.
