Hi guys, I'm a freshman in this forum and I've been playing flute for a couple of years without prof. I want to buy a new flute to replace my Yamaha 281. I found the 2 following models within my budget:
1, Haynes Amadeus 700
2, Azumi AZS3
both with silver headjoint and silver body, inline G, open holes, french pointed keys and C foot. The Amadeus 700 is with 14K riser.
Any tips to choose between these 2 flutes? Thanks a lot.
Haynes Amadeus 700 vs Azumi AZS3, which one to choose?

Have you tried playing them? Both of those are reputable brands and if you've narrowed your selection to those two, playing them should help you pick the one that feels right for you.

I've tried the AZS3 but not the Haynes because I found it in the internet.
To my surprise, I felt the AZS3 was very light to be held in my hand, even lighter than my YL281. I thought it should be heavier coz it's with silver headjoint and body. It was very responable, I could easily reach to high E (that's as far as I can play right now).
