Armstrong model 85

I cannot find anything on the Armstrong model 85 from 1983.

I know is is open hole, b foot, sterling tube,

but I dont' know how it compares to the model 80 or any feedback at all on it's qualtity, etc.

You are correct. There is not much info about the Model 85. I suspect that it may be a short-lived but slightly later version of the Model 80. The Model 800B seems to be the current equivalent model.

Around the time of the Model 80, Armstrong also produced a sterling silver closed hole flute designated as the Model 90.

The Armstrong model 80 has a great reputation as being near-pro in quality.

Has anybody heard anything about the Armstrong 85? Same specs, different years (83--89)
