A few months ago I bought an 'antique' flute... from an estate sale, essentially.
I was told it was ebony, but when I got it discovered it was ebonite.
A really nice lady online looked at pictures and provided me with more information about the flute.
But I'm still wondering if anyone else has heard of 'A.H. Langlois' flutes? It was suggested it might be A.M Langlois, even though it clearly looks like an 'H' stamped on the flute.
The only other place I've found information about this maker is here where they listed a piccolo by the maker: http://www.music.ed.ac.uk/euchmi/ubl/ubld2.html
Any suggestions?
