Trying to date my flute

I have my mother's flute (who I know played it between 1963-1969), but I'd like to have an idea of when it was manufactured. The number on the body and foot is 90k7460. The head just says 460. It is a W.T. Armstrong Stirling silver head and body only. I played it as well and am looking to give it to a third generation to play. Just trying to get an idea of year of manufacturing as well as potentially a price of what it is worth before I give it to a ten year old to start playing. It's worth way more in sentimental value than in actual dollars, but I'd still like to have an idea. Thanks!

That would likely be a Model 90. A quick check of eBay shows them selling in in the $100-$200 range. That was a decent flute in its day, but they just aren't in high demand so the selling prices are not very high.
