Please help settle family dispute - Haynes Schwelm flute

Hi All,

Without going into details, I am trying to figure out the production year of a Haynes Schwelm flute, serial # 463-158. I have had a difficult time searching the internet for this information. I read somewhere that Haynes had Haynes-Schwelm legally shut down in 1954 so that would have been the last year the flute could have been made. Is that even accurate?
