Hello!
Before I get on about the problem couple facts:
-Played flutesince 4th grade and now I'm in 8th grade.
-Received only a few months of private instruction
My flute is in the repair shop so I have to borrow a school flute. Apparently, most of the flutes can't even play so I borrowed that last flute that can actually sound a note.
When I went home, notes sounded kinda airy and somehow my D's and E's don't have the best sound quality...I've just fixed my embochure and all but I haven't practiced for about a week so I'm wondering if this is me. Bottom line is, Is the flute messed up or is it me?
Me or the flute?

Seeing as you haven't practiced it's difficult to tell from what you told us. Get a more advanced flutist (who is in practice) to play the flute. If they have similar issues, it's at least partially the flute's fault. Even if the flute is to blame, the fact that you haven't played in a week means you probably are at least part of the issue too. A word of advice: When you've just managed to fix something, or learn something new (like correcting embouchure problems), it's not the best time to take off playing. These issues can return very easily, and have to be worked out again if you don't solve them thoruoughly.
