Add my voice to the chorus of those here cheering you all on no matter what your age is. I just recently took up the guitar and have enjoyed every minute of it even though it's difficult at this very early point. Hopefully, it will get easier the more I work at it :-). At any rate, having a new way to make music has been wonderful.

I think you will be surprised how easy it is to get back into the swing of it if you have been away for quite sometime.

Playing the flute for your own enjoyment is, IMO, perhaps the best reason of all to play this instrument. There's no money riding on it, and the only person you have to please is yourself.
