I see some important things missing (Chaminade) but it looks cool.

That's exactly what I was thinking, etgohomeok! I just bought Jeanne Baxtressors Orchestral Excerpts for flute for 50 bucks, so that sounds like a great plan.

not bad, but a lot of good stuff missing: Poulenc, Dutilleux, Ibert, Prokofiev, Franck Martin, Sancan, etc, etc...

could be good for a start..

A lot missing indeed. But I think it *could* be a worthy investment if you wanted something to use until you had time to order better copies.
