Question a silly one /

Post by dogster »

Ok I have been playing the flute for over a year and
think my belly has gotten bigger in size . I got to see some flute players like John Gallway and others and some have this belly thing going on. lol I am extremely healthy in my 50s lol and my wife makes fun of me. I mean its not huge but I am thinking all that breathing and I also do circular breathing so maybe I am creating this ? Sorry for the silly post

Sincerely

How the heck should I know about that :P ???

Anyhow, lack of activity is the number one cause of a belly, (a healthy beer habit just adds to this!) and this includes myself(with out the beer!). I spend 85% of my life sitting behind a desk. When I was in the Marines, I would eat 3 times as much I as I do now, but I was half the size. I worked out 3 times a day, and ran twice aday. Also wealthy people in general do not do as much work physical as a person who is less wealthy(Broke). This is just the name of the game. I know many good flautist that are not anywhere close to having a belly.

I would suggest the next time your wife complains about your belly, tell her you just need some younger ladies to chase around...lol Maybe this will help you loose a few pounds when you are running for your life!!!
