too much recorder = bad flute embouchure?

I notice that I sound like * when I play my flute right after my recorder. Am I damaging my flute embouchure by playing recorder, or is it just temporary fatigue?

Playing recorder should have absolutely no impact on your flute embouchure. I frequently play both and switch back and forth often in the same session. The recorder requires very little pressure from the lips - just enough to keep the air from escaping around your lips. Are you squeezing your lips very tightly when playing recorder? Don't!

Practice playing the recorder for five minutes or so and then switch to the flute for five; repeat that several times each day. That should help you get used to making the transition.
