I'm taking a test in may, and I have to play chromatic scale from f to f" (I think, just the lowest f to the third f). The point is, my flute teacher thought I had to go down to the lowest c. I can't go down to that point until I have practiced for a while. but, my teacher says that it may be a bit harder for me because my flute is fairly new (from last summer) and it had a cork piece to hold it in place. Not sure why that matters, but I want to ask if I can fix this without damaging the flute, or how long it will take for the flute to be normal.
I got Barrington Model 229 that I am so happy with (Thanks again Phineas).
Also, I forgot to clean my flute after marching band practice, and now the bottom part of the head piece (where it joins with the next flute part) looks yellow-ish. Just wondering if I'm imaging this.
My flute teacher is great. He's from Poland but speaks some sort of Icelandic (my first language) and english mixed togeather. I just started playing last january, and I'm very pleased with the progress
