Hello! I'm brand new to this forum and I need some advice. I have recently started playing my flute again and I thought it might be fun to also play piccolo. And, after reading some of the threads on this forum, it sounds like it may also help to improve my flute playing skills! I don't have a lot of money to spend at this time. I have found several low-priced piccolos that I am considering:

http://www.wwbw.com/Barrington-Model-99 ... 13817.wwbw
Which one do you think would be the best? Or, if you know of another brand that is in the same general price-range that might be better, please let me know! Thank you in advance for the help!

If those are the only two that you are considering, I personally would get the Bundy. Bundy is a subdivision of the Conn-Selmer company, and they are the largest instrument manufacturing company in the world. So even though this piccolo is a modestly priced instrument, at least it is backed by a company that has been around for a while.
I've heard good things about the Barrington, but I've not had any experience with them. So, my advice is a bit biased.

Thank you for the reply and information! The Bundy piccolo had positive customer reviews and between the two that I listed here, I was leaning toward it but was interested in what the people on this forum had to say! I have a 36-year-old Bundy flute and it has held up well, although it certainly could use a re-pad and some adjustments at this point!
Again, thank you for your thoughts on these two piccolos! I appreciate it!
