Titanium Flutes?

Post by m3the01 »

I was wondering if anyone with personal experience with these flutes or headjoints would be willing to share with me their experience.

I find it interesting, but little information is out there.

I dont even think Landel flutes is producing any of these anymore,

Thanks!!!

Landell is still making the headjoints. The flute itself is probably not a viable product because of the price. The headjoints themselves in Titanium or with the various combinations of metal components he can provide are very nice.

They are very light in weight. Very similar to carbon fiber (Matit). Like usual, there are many different combinations and cuts available to help you find something you like.

The Titanium flute itself is very nice and weighs very little. I had one headjoint in particular that I liked when I played through a bunch of them on both the all titanium flute and one of my silver flutes

You do need to get used to a little different balance if you put a Titanium head on a regular flute body..
