crown and stopper

Post by cleversod »

I bought a crown and stopper from Robert Bigio today. It's the Zirconium one. I ended up playing it all day !! it makes such an amazing difference, has anyone else tried them, and what sort of results did you have?
I play on a solid silver Muramatsu, and thought that I couldnt improve my hardware, but this crown and stopper was simply astonishing !!!!
Many Thanks
John

I just got one as well!! I LOVE it! Like 100% better! I feel the upper register is much clearer and playing pianissimo is a breeze. So happy with this purchase.

Yes, I have a set installed in my Sankyo K14. It's really good. The difference is pretty audible. The main aspect that is enhanced with this resource is the resonance. According to the manufacturer, it can be explained by the empty space created at the left portion of the headjoint where there is no more screw, nor the regular cork.

Please talk more guys, i need a greater justification to drop $325.00

I was considering, until i saw it was in pounds sterling.

Plus, flute center wants like $325 for it, which is $80 more than the exchange.

Thanks,

I purchased directly from Mr. Biggio.
I think he accepts credit cards.

How much does it cost shipped to the united states?

That would be great!!!

Are u impressed? worth the coin? im totally happy with my sound right now, maybe wish i could play a little softer in the top register, but thats something i need to work on.

Im very skeptical about this device, however ive seen some pretty good reviews.
