Yes, we are in the process of upgrading the board to the newest version to help fight SPAM. We'll try to bring back all the old features plus there will be a few new one with the new functionality

I check - View New Posts - periodically, instead of looking through all of the forums

We'll still get some of these cretins joining and posting but one of the main benefits of the update is that we can ban spammers now, shut them down before they get a chance to post the mass spam attacks that we've seen recently.

I liked very much the change. Specially the navigation became easier and more practical. For me the transition occurred transparently. I only noticed it when I saw the different layout and positioning of some options.
