Calling all Jazz Flute Performers!

I just wanted to drop in a quick message to let you know about three amazing online jazz talent competitions we've just launched in association with Jazz FM at http://www.puresolo.com.

Snake Davis, Dennis Rollins and Steve Waterman are each spearheading a competition and are donating their time to mentor the winners and give them the chance to share the stage with them at one of their upcoming events - The Hay Festival for Dennis and the Pizza Express Jazz Club for Snake and Steve.

All instruments are eligible, so it there's any jazz flute players here who fancy a go, read all the details on our competitions page. Good luck!

wow! i had no idea that there was a competition for such a thing... im very interested in learning to play jazz on the flute... does anyone know where i can perhaps find a fairly simple jazz flute piece? something to help me get the feel of it , you know?
