Difficult Trill

I have a piece I'm currently on, and I have to trill from D Natural to E Natural. The trill is easy to finger, but the sound is hard to come out, as it comes out airy, and not full. Can anyone tell me how to make it come out more fuller and more easier? My flute is a Miyazawa PB202.

You'll need to tell us WHICH D-E trill. Low D below the staff, Middle D on the fourth line, or the D above the staff.

OK. There are several options for a middle octave D-E trill:

1 - Use the normal middle D fingering and trill the RH 3rd finger (the E will sound a little dull)
2 - Use the low D fingering (but play the middle D) and trill the RH 3rd finger
3 - Hybrid - Start with normal middle D fingering, then when you start to trill the RH 3rd finger, close the LH 1st finger
4 - Use the normal middle D fingering, but close the LH 1st finger half-way and trill the RH 3rd finger
