I''m just curious... how long
had you played the flute before you started playing the piccolo? Do you like one
over the other?

I don't play the piccolo but
my daughter does. She started playing at the end of 6th grade which was her 2nd
year in band. Kim

I started playing the piccolo
in the 7th grade, one year after I first started playing the flute.

I also started playing piccolo
in 7th grade. I think that people who want to start the piccolo should develop
the basic skills of the flute and should master the embosure of producing a
decent sound before playing the piccolo. At lest, thats what i think, there are
people out there who are gifted. ~AJ
