Headjoint dirt
On the end of my head joint, ( the part that goes into the rest of the flute) It is always dirty, and sometimes turns green. I think it might be from the inside of the middle joint, It is hard to get off, and when I do get it off it keeps coming back. Does anyone else have this problem, and how do I keep it from coming back?

Green indicates corrosion
For corrosion to occur, you need two dis-similiar metals and an electrical conduit like grease / water /salts etc
Usually happens when people use grease for there tenons, ideally have it cleaned by buffing, then no more grease, you will need to clean inside the receiver as well
Can also corrode from not cleaning salts / saliva which comes from our mouths out of the instrument after playing
