Can anyone tell me how to find out the value of my Emerson by looking up the serial #? I have had no such luck and am looking to sell it... Serial # F9976L

Knowing the model of your Emerson flute would likely be a better place to start for determining an approximate value. If you can provide the forum with the model (1, 3B, 8B, etc.) or with at least a thorough description of your flute which would help us to assess the model number (since it is not stamped anywhere on the flute body), maybe someone can point you in the direction of a general price range, assuming that the flute plays well and is in good shape mechanically as well as aesthetically.
