I see a lot of post from people asking if they can apprentice with someone. The discussion usually goes the same way, people talk a little bit about whether it's better to apprentice or go to school. But I want to know what you want.
Have you thought about going to school?
Have you talked to local techs about apprenticing? Have you looked at the online school?
Have you given up on a dream or a whim?
Or maybe it's been a dream you just aren't sure how to achieve.
What do you want to accomplish?
Be a full general tech?
Work only on flutes?
Only on your own flutes?
Buy repair and sell instruments?

It wasn't so much a denial as to whether one exists but rather a refusal to trust any graduates...
