Online Lesson Question

Post by Burke »

Boglarka's online lessons have been a tremendous boost to me, and I would like to explore additional online instruction.

My question is about online instructor/student interaction. Do the other instructors offer lessons in a format similar to those presented by Boglarka, or are those lessons presented in a different way? Also, do I require specific visual or sound equipment in order to participate in that instruction?

Sometimes I think I might be the last person in the world to understand any detail about computers, so I apologize in advance if the answers to these questions are obvious to everyone else, or if I've missed finding the answers on the fluteland website.

Dear Burke,

The lessons that Boglarka is presenting have been developed by Boglarka and Fluteland.com and are presented by Fluteland.com. Other teachers do not offer video instruction through Fluteland.com at this time.

We will be adding additional lessons shortly, both in video and audio format.

We do have the video-confirencing option, where it is possible to interact with a teacher in real-time using a webcam and a microphone. Damjan Krajacic is currently the available teacher for such lessons. To reuqest such lessons, please send an email to support@fluteland.com.

Thanks for answering my question. I have both webcam and microphone, and I'll be making that request very soon. I may want to upgrade to better quality sound/video equipment at this end before doing so. I'll have to play wtih this stuff for a while to see how good it is, since I haven't used it in a long time.

I'm having a difficult time finding a teacher in my area due to my own time constraints. Even if I did have one near my home though, I believe that I would still want to pursue instruction here as well.

Thanks again!
