Forgive an incursion by a trombonist!
I was given a piccolo years ago, and told it was nothing super-exciting. It's an Armstrong Elkhart, serial #33-61788 (which I believe means it's from 1988). Seems to be in good shape, all keys work. Doesn't have the gleam of silver, but I can't tell for sure.

Question: is this a student horn I should just donate to a high school, or is it maybe worth something?

Re: Armstrong Elkhart Piccolo
It's a student instrument.
