venus flute for marching band?

i recently joined a marching band and i play flute. i'm currently using my school flute for this band but i'd like something cheap that i can play on. would you recommend the venus flute?

Honestly, no.

If money is your problem, try finding a decent used instrument by a respected brand such as Yamaha.

Agreed. Venus flutes are not made well, and are very likely to have problems, especially when treated as roughly as marching instruments often are.
