Flute basics//

It is possible but bearing in mine that getting the basics perfected will be a lifelong thing. Whats the deadline for?

It's possible, but you'll need to dedicate some time to learning, and getting a good teacher would help ensure you don't hit any of the normal pitfalls of beginners. As already mentioned, you won't be able to perfect your playing in a month, but you might be able to pull of a simple melody or something within that time. It really depends on how naturally disposed you are toward the flute, and how dedicated you plan to be in your attempt to learn it.
