[/quote] If it were me, I'd tell anyway. It's better to have a friend not talk
to you because she's mad but getting help than not to talk to you because she
is no longer around. Sorry to be blunt but I've had a little experience in this
when I was in high school (many years ago).

Either way you need to be a good friend and get her the help she needs even if
it's talking to a school guidance counselor/teacher/social worker. She needs
help as soon as possible.

You could bring a pen or pencil and
your music with you. Then you could practice fingering on the pen while looking
at your music. Try it. When i was in grade school, if we forgot our instrument,
thats what they made us do.[:)]

Best of luck with your treatment I hope it goes well, I will be thinking of you. I think you should be allowed your flute as it calsm you when you are angry/upset and as your conditions are centered around feelings and emotion then I think it would be very beneficial for you. Ask if you could have your flute there. Again, study theory, find out new things about the flute, read about the flute, listen to recordings and chat on forums like this.

Bets of luck again, you can do it!

I'm sorry to inform you, but Kristen left monthes ago. We have been hopeful to hear from her, but have yet to receive any news. I believe she said she would have litle or no use of a computer so she would talk to us when she comes home again.

Sorry,
Kendall
