Hey I'm new. I found this forum while searching for instumental forums and after browsing for a bit, I really like it.

I'm 15 years old, and I've been playing the flute for a little over a year now. I also play violin (3 years) and piano (4). I saw that another member played those as well. I've always loved learning about music and listening to it. I started flute in band freshman year, and a couple months later I started private lessons. My weaknesses are higher notes and breath control. My goal is to play Bach sonatas.

I'll go browse some more now :D

welcome! It is very common for people on here to play multiple instruments beyond flute and piccolo (I play harp, and a little piano as well). It is very possible for you to be able to play Bach Sonatas. Just keep practicing, and you are sure to get there!

Thank you for the comment

And I think it's great that you play the harp as well, that must be a very difficult instrument.

Well...... I dont think it is that bad. It took me a while to get proficient at it, but now it is okay. It takes a little while to learn the music though (two hands going at one time, playing two different things, and you have to place your fingers on the strings ahead of time...... so finger placement is really important). But, learning any instrument that uses both bass and treble clef at the same time is difficult at first (at least I thought so). But, learning harp definately helped learning piano. :D
