Value of Haynes 1927 Flute / Piccolo Set

I have what appears to be a matched set of a Haynes 1927 flute and piccolo, in the same case, with cleaning items, etc. Serial numbers are 2 numbers apart. Can't tell if they're sterling silver or not, the flute looks to be closed hole, but that's about all I know about flutes. I have contacted the Haynes company to get some more information, but thought I'd see if anyone here has some ideas on how to ascertain exactly what type of flute it is, what features, etc., and what the value of the set might be.
