I have a Gemeinhardt piccolo I'm trying to ID: serial#: 51xxx, model: CS.
I've come a cross numerous sites that state that this model equates to Gemeinhardt's current 4S model. However, I've found no documentation for this on the Gemeinhardt Serial Number Lookup page http://www.gemeinhardt.com/support/seri ... ookup.html
In fact, I see no mention of a model "CS" at all on that page.
I'm not overly concerned with equating one model to the other. But I am interested in figuring out if my CS is solid silver in construction.
Thoughts?

It may be an acronym for the term "coin silver"

I always thought the CS was a student model. Would be nice if someone knew.

Whatever it means, it's the same as the 4s shown here: http://www.gemeinhardt.com/gemeinhardt-4s-piccolo.html
