If there is interest, I'd love to do a flute forum collaborative jam. I've done a few of these over at a guitar forum that I frequent and it's been a ton of fun.
Here's how it works: I'll create and upload a fairly simple looping backing track and give everyone the key and chord progression. Participants record themselves improvising over the backing track. You send me a track with just your flute part, and I'll cut it all apart, mix it all together and post the results.
Here's one of the completed mixdowns from one of the guitar forum jams so you can get an idea: https://soundcloud.com/chris-carr-4/gf- ... al-mixdown. This one was basically a simple 2 chord vamp.
If I have enough interest, I'd love to put together a backing track and do a collab flute jam!! Skill level doesn't matter. This is about having fun making some music.
Who is up for a forum collaborative jam?
