Artley vintage two piece silver plated flute -

Can anyone help me find information on the date my flute was made/manufactured? I have scoured the internet for info, and I haven't seen a two piece student flute yet. I was given this flute by the band professor at CSU Fort COllins, CO at band camp in 1981. It looked vintage then, and it is quite old now, although it plays beautifully. The serial number is 13567, made in Elkhardt, IN. The old antique font just says, "Artley Student". If anyone can help, that would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Holly

The two-piece model was not real common, but it's not exactly rare either. If you decide to sell it though, don't expect it to provide a retirement nest egg...
