pearl pfp 105 piccolo head joint compatability

Okay everyone, I'm a music ed major, started playing piccolo again recently after almost 11 years. So I bought a pearl pfp 105e piccolo. This one has the composite head joint. I've been practicing and practicing it for months now and my high notes are still an issue. Also jumps from low to high notes and vice versa. So, here's my question: are there any head joints from different brands that are compatible with this piccolo? Any info is much appreciated!
