gold plating
I have an opportunity to buy a yamaha 674H with gold plating. Does anyone know how this wears and what happens if it wears off.

Gold Plating
If the plating was done by Yamaha, it should hold-up very well. My Baker Model is plated, and has 6 years without any signs of wear. My skin reacts to silver due to a medication I take. This was the reason I purchased a plated instrument.
