Gemeinhardt 4RSP number 71282
Can anyone tell me when this was made? Any info would be appreciated!

Gemeinhardt silver plated piccolo with rolled tone holes (much like most flutes). The rolled tone holes are supposedly easier on the pads. Gemeinhardt also claims that they offer a better pad seal (no opinion on either). This is probably not a terribly old piccolo and these have a decent sound and scale. As far as when it was made, no way of knowing for sure. Gemeinhardt may be able to tell you by the serial number if you call them directly. Sometime since the early 90's??
Depending on condition (piccolos are, like flutes, expensive to re-pad) and what they are asking, it may be worth looking into.
