Flute World?

Post by Isabelle »

I found a flute that I really like on Fluteworld for half the price as any others that I could find at my local music dealer, and I would like to at least try it out. Is Flute world a credible Sorce? are their instruments good quality, or are they cheap like their prices? Any info would help!!!

Thanks :)

I highly recommend Flute World as I have done business with them for years with no problems whatsoever.

I just recently bought a flute from flute world. They are great. Before they sent my order they called me because they only had an inline version of one of the flutes I wanted to try so they wanted to know if I wanted to wait for the offset or try the inline.

Yes, Flute World is quite reliable and respectable. They have been around for many many years. I've never bought a flute from them, but have purchased scads of music over the years. If you are an NFA member, they will give you a discount off sheet music which, if you order a lot of it, can really add up to a pretty good deal.

I've never had a bad experience with Flute World. My only complaint is that their online catalog is not specific enough for my personal taste (e.g., a Telemann sonata in "A" will be listed but you won't know if it's the one in "A" that you are looking for because there often won't be a catalog number or other distinguishing feature). However, a quick email to them solves that problem. They (usually Sara) will respond fast and give you the info you need.
