Having teeth taken out?

I'm having 3 teeth taken out on Thursday
The two top canines, and the one after the canine at the top right side.

I've just been asked by a friend if I can play with her at a concert thing on the Saturday. I said maybe, I wasn't sure.

Has anyone else had any experience with teeth taken out and then playing?
I had some molars out a while ago, but didn't play the flute for about a week after.

I don't want to give you any despair, but I would not count on playing on Saturday. Realistically, your body should take time to heal before playing very much, especially if they have to cut on your gums.
